Kyrgyzstan

Project ” Green Agenda in Kyrgyzstan” started in October 2005. By the end of 2007 Green agenda process in Kyrgizstan was implemented.

Four territories – two urban (Sverdlovsk rayon of Bishkek city and rayon along Ak-Bura river in Osh) and two rural (Zarechnoe village of Tashdebenskij ail-okmutu in Chui region and Tulejken village in Osh region) participated in the process. Assisted by coordinating NGOs, local people  – members of the working groups – wrote four Green Agenda plans that were then adopted by the local authorities. Each of the territory implemented parts of the plan in pilot projects.
