Green Agenda Network

First Regional Skill Share Seminar (RSSS1) took place in Struga (Macedonia) from 13 till 15 June 2008. Representatives from all 18 NGOs, trainers, local coordinators, coordinator of Green Agenda Macedonia platform and Milieukontakt team were present.

During this seminar perticipants presented their communities and NGOs, updated each other on Green Agenda activities in their communities, discussed urgent and important issues (during the Open Space sessions), participated in fundraising training and made action plans of national and regional activities.

Two days event: workshop on Information and Communication Technology (joint workshop for GA NGO representatives from B&H, Montenegro, and Serbia), and Action Planning (relevant for GA NGO representatives from Montenegro and Serbia) will take place in Tivat (Montenegro) on 10-12 of April.

Representatives of NGOs from Montenegro, Bosnia&Herzegovina and Serbia will be present as well as local coordinators.

From Milieukontakt Sofiya Lukyanchuk and Chris van den Sanden will be present.

1. Historia dhe vlerat kulturore:- Është shkruar Historia e kishës së Shirqit.- Historia e arsimit të shkollave në Dajç është në proces.- Aktivitete që mund të bëhen si mbjellja e fidanëve dhe mbajtja pastër e oborreve në shkolla, vlerësohen si projekte pilote të mundshme për t“u realizuar nga ky grup.   2. Mjedisi dhe Biodiversiteti i lumit Buna:- Biodiversiteti i lumit Buna, listimi i specieve në rrezik zhdukje si:bimët, peshqit dhe gjitarët.- Janë diskutuar problemet në lidhje me peshkimin në lumin Buna.- Erozioni është një problem shumë i rëndësishëm për brigjet e lumit Buna.- Është diskutuar mundësia e ndërtimit të një landfilli dhe shihet si një aktivitet konkret.     Është e nevojshme bashkëpunimi midis Komunave të tjera fqinje.  3. Bujqësia dhe përpunimi i produkteve blektorale  Në diskutimin  e këtij grupi zunë vend shumë problematika, meqënëse aktiviteti ekonomik i zonës bazohet në bujqësi dhe në blegtori. Problemet që u diskutuan:-          Prodhimtaria e ulët e tokës. -          Nuk janë më të preferuara bimët tradicionale.-          Është problemi  marketingu i produkteve agrobujqësore.-          Problemi me pesticidet që sjellin ngordhjen e bletëve nga përdorimi pa kriter i tyre. -          Kërkohet një pikë tregtimi për bimët dekorative.-          Mundësia e bashkëpunimit me Komunën në mbjelljen e pemëve dekorative, shihet si një projekt pilot i mundshëm. 4. Veshjet tradicionale dhe festat fetare- Vlerat dhe kostumet tradicionale janë konsederuar si një vlerë e madhe.- Grupi e sheh me shume vlerë rikthimin e përdorimit të  kostumeve popullore tradicionale. - gjithahshtu vlerësohet si problematike mungesa e punimeve artizanale (tezgjah dhe puna e dorës). - Ruatja e traditave të dasmave dhe këngët e dasmave, ninullat dhe këngët e vajit.- Ruatja e vlerave folklorike. Shihen si projekte të mundshme pilote këto aktivitete. - Organizimi i festave fetare tradicionale në fshatra të ndryshëm.- Organizimi i një panairi me kostume dhe produkte tradicionale

welcome to the Carnival in Vevcani!

The Carnival of Vevcani, older than 1.400 years, is an interesting mix of paganism and modernism. This year  is held on 12 and 13 January (on the last eve of the old and at the first day of the New Year, according to the old calendar). The main characteristics of the carnival are: archaism, secretiveness and improvisation. According to its specific features, it differs from all other carnivals in the world.

The arena of the carnival events is the whole village of Vevcani, which turns in a boundaryless theatre of its kind during the carnival, where each house, each street is a scene onto which disguised people perform their plays like real actors.

There are three traditional masks: bridegroom and bride, August the Stupid and musicians. Remaining masks are, in essence, major or minor carnival groups, who, through their costumes, gesticulations and movements usually ridicule and point to phenomena and persons of the social life.

The role of August the Stupid is particularly distinct. Young people, full of energy bear this mask and communicate with the audience by peculiar movements and gesticulations, as well as by specific screams.

During the carnival, the disguised participants enjoy all possible freedom and passion to “place the world upside down”, freedom in which the creativity of the spirit is expressed, as well as the sense for improvisation, criticism and sarcasm. Officially, women do not participate in the carnival. Yet, they do disguise, but, compared to men, do not take off the masks at the end.

On the occasion of the carnival, people from Vevcani come home from all over the world, in order to take part in the unique performance, abundantly drowned in a red wine, which has enough room for every good-will guest possessing a carnival spirit.

Takimi i parë i aktorëve shënoi edhe fillimin e proçesit të Axhendës së Gjelbër në Komunën e Dajçit. Pjesëmarrësit në takim përfaqësonin grupe të intersuara për këtë proçes dhe në të vërtetë shkalla e interesimit të tyre ishte mjaft e lartë. Përfaqësues nga komuna, kryetari dhe këshilli i komunës, përfaqësues të shoqërisë civile dhe donatorëve të tjerë që operojnë në zonë, përfaqësues të drejtorive të bujqësisë, pyjeve, si dhe specialistë diskutuan mbi intereat e tyre direkte dhe indirekte të përfshirjes. Zona shquhet jo vetëm për vlerat mjedisore dhe natyrore, por edhe për nivelin e lartë arsimor dhe kulturor, shkallën e lartë të motivimit të komunitetit dhe kjo bëri që edhe diskutimi të ishte mjaft interesant. Të gjithë pjesëmarrësit u shprehën të interesuar për proçesin, diskutuan për përfshirjen e tyre dhe përcaktuan edhe drejtimet e punës në të ardhmen. Këto do të jenë drejtimet mbi bazën e të cilave u ngritën grupet e punës.  Vlera artizanale – prodhimi i veshjeve, qëndismat dhe pëlhurat, përpunimi i qumeshtit.Vlera mjedisore -  biodiversiteti në zonë dhe sidomos në Lumin Buna, ruajtja e llojeve të kafshëve të rralla e bimëve medicinale, peshkimi tradicional dhe ai sportiv.Vlera social-kulturore – kisha e Shirqit, zhvillimi i turizmit historik dhe atij kulturor, tradita e e veshjeve popullore dhe folku.Vlera agro-bujqësore – përpunimi i produkteve bujqësore dhe blegtorale. Takimi i parë i aktorëve u realizua në bashkëpunimin e ngushtë të dy shoqatave SHRMMNSH dhe Ylber me këshillin e komunës. Në takim morën pjesë edhe përfaqësues të Milieukontakt International Sussane Bakker dhe Valbona Mazreku. Ai u lehtësua nga Rrezart Xhelo, përfaqësues i grupit të trainerëve të Eden.

After the promotion of the Green Agenda in Bitola through the activities of Green Agenda Ambassadors, big stakeholder meeting is set up to be held on 27 of December 2007.

It will be nice opportunity to define working groups before Christmas and New Year holidays so people can think about specific actions.

Zona e Dajçit shtrihet ne Ultesiren Perendimore te Shqiperise. Kjo zone per shkohet nga lumi Buna qe ka vlera ekonomike. Duke mos lene pa permendur ketu vlera kulturore e historike. Ne kete zone ndodhet kisha e Shirgjit qe daton ne shekullin 14-15.

The group from Kosovo has meet other two groups from Albania and Macedonia on meetihg in Pogradec. On this meeting we made better connection with other groups and change some opinions.

This two days event combining ICT workshop and NGO meeting will be held in Pogradeci (Albania) on 8-9th of December. Representatives of NGOs from Albania, Macedonia and Kosovo as well as representatives of Milieukontakt International in Amsterdam and in Albania will be present.

On the first day (8th of December) ICT workshop will take place. Green Agenda Network international web site will be presented and launched. Country teams will work on the national web sites that will be launched after the workshop.

Second day ( 9th of December) will be dedicated to planning of activities of the next period. Albanian and Kosovar NGOs will be present.
